1) I expressed my song through visual imagery by painting an experience I had while listening to it. This personal experience helped me attach an image to the song that was important to me.
2) My process of layering paint was difficult because my painting was depicting a dark scene so when I tried to make layers under the dark blue and black they were difficult to see. If I could do it over I would try to make the scene I painted more brightly colored so my layers could be seen.
3) Th canvas started with mostly bright colors, greens and yellows and some bright blues. Now it is mostly black and blue with some yellow, but the color scheme has changed dramatically.
4) For me the emotions that I am trying to show are personal, so it may be difficult for my audience to feel what I feel from this song and from this painting.
